On May 15, 2007, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital officially opened” The Patient Teaching Center (PTC)” in collaboration with ARAMCO Medical Services.

The PTC provides educational services for patients, their families through a multidisciplinary team. The center aims at providing useful teaching programs in a modern and scientific manner.
Various services are provided by the center, including one-on-one teaching sessions, group education, audiovisual lab facilities, and a patient library.
The center will help educate almost 500,000 patients who are expected to visit the hospital annually.

To promote the highest quality health status for all people by assisting to increase awareness about the disease participation and decision making about health care options, adopting healthy lifestyle, behaviors and supporting recovery and speedy return to function.

1. Health Education: was established to play an important role in the comprehensive and effective health education of patients and their families.
2. Diabetic Education: provides comprehensive management and counseling of patients and their families on issues related to diabetes.
3. Audio Visual lab: promote optimum health status of all patients through educating patients and their families on their disease process, health care options and healthy behavior using audiovisual aids and internet resources.
4. Patients Library: Patrons (Patients, families, community members, staff, can avail our library with free access to the patient educational handouts and brochures.
5. Multi Purpose Auditorium: Group teaching given to the patient’s families, health caregivers or any interested person by giving them knowledge about the disease.
